SkyDive Atlanta conducted a very nice memorial jump amid high clouds with a pink setting sun and beautiful silver linings on the clouds. The ride to altitude was absolutly beautiful and calm. Our dive formation was a missing man formation with Gina Earle (org), Mike Willoughby and Craig Knowlton forming the base of the four way. The other divers docked, leaving a slot to the four way... The other divers included Jack Coan (video) Amy Keele, Ron Keele, Erik Johnson, Perry T, Dennis Brooks, Kevin Chapman, Russ Durand and John Baute It's hard to describe just how quiet, sincere and yet carefree the dive went. I guess everyone knew what to do and we were all there to pay our respects in our own way. Saturday and Sunday saw a six way at SD Atlanta building the letters "S" and "N". We didn't try for the "D" because we wanted to represent all skill levels during the dive. Sandy would have encouraged anyone to join the dive, so did we and we built the dive according to our skill level. We built the "S" first and transitioned to a box then transitioned to an "N". Really very nice with alot of folks on the ground proud we did it. The six way consisted of organizers Dennis Brooks and Mike Willoughby, Jack Coan (video), Amy Keele, Craig Knowlton, Eric Deren, Christy Martabano and Mike Powell as pilot. We've all said farewell, but not good-bye, for we shall see you again. --SkyDive Atlanta--
