Night Jumps

When the moon gets full, we get jumping. Near each full moon, weather permitting, we'll be making night jumps. Come out and see West Point from an entirely different perspective.

Here are some things to keep in mind when making a night jump:

1. Must meet all requirements for a USPA B license or higher.
2. Receive a briefing within immediately prior to the jump.
3. Jumper must have a lighted altimeter.
4. Jumper must have a light visible for at least 3 miles.
5. Jumper must have a flash light to check the canopy.
6. Jumper must have a whistle to alert other jumpers.
7. Jumper must have clear goggles.
8. Landing area must be sufficiently lighted.
9. Must have made at least one jump during the day.
